In this case, you can submit a request to the Monitoring Agency for Digital Accessibility of Public Authorities in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to review the regulations and measures mentioned in the accessibility statement.

The Monitoring Agency is responsible for the complaint and enforcement procedure in accordance with Section 2 (1) BITVO M-V.

Upon your request, it will review whether further measures are necessary on the part of the public authority. The complaint and enforcement procedure is free of charge for you as the complainant. You do not need legal assistance.

  • Once the complaint has been received, the following steps will be taken: Examination of whether actual violations of accessibility can be identified
  • The public authority will be requested to remedy the deficiencies within a certain period of time. To this end, it will receive suggestions for implementation.
  • If the public body does not comply with the complaint, it must justify this to the monitoring body.
  • All parties involved will be informed of the status of the proceedings.
  • Conclusion of the enforcement procedure with a summary final notification to the complainant and explanation of the implementation.
  • Notification of the public body and the competent technical or legal supervisory authority.

Regardless of the complaint procedure, the enforcement procedure can also be initiated by the Monitoring Agency for Digital Accessibility of Public Authorities M-V itself on the basis of identified deficiencies.
