At the world's largest radiology conference, RSNA in Chicago, Siemens Healthineers impressed experts with the latest generation of medical innovations. We created the presentation with unique exhibits – from transparent OLED screens to a huge 4K screen wall. We also developed digital applications offering impressive augmented reality experiences, created all user interfaces, handled the technical implementation on site, and provided comprehensive support.
Presentation perfection: the Main Exhibit
Ready, steady, show: We created an eye-catching welcome area for the Siemens Healthineers trade fair stand. Flanked by two information pillars, we combined five 2.5-meter-high 4K displays to form a huge, slightly curved screen surface for spectacular presentations. For example, for the elaborately staged patient story that showcases Siemens' latest products. Even outside of the keynotes, the main exhibit impressed with a specially developed screensaver that served as the perfect eye-catcher — and became a popular backdrop for interviews and press photos.
Interactions with visions: the exhibition mockup
Welcome to the future of radiology: Siemens Healthineers used the mockup we created to present its groundbreaking technologies and processes of tomorrow — spectacularly implemented as an interactive experience that brought our client's visions to life for all trade fair visitors.
Transparent radiology: OLED screen and display wall
One finger was all it took: visitors to the stand could select their desired treatment process via a transparent OLED touchscreen — which a virtual patient then visualized synchronously on the display wall behind it. We conceived the exhibit, designed the user interface, and took care of the technical implementation. We also enabled all visitors to leave their messages and ideas about the future of radiology on a digital whiteboard via iPad.
Smart solution: the AI-Rad Companion Exhibit
Siemens Healthineers' AI Rad Companion generation provides medical professionals with an AI-supported, cloud-based workflow for maximum diagnostic precision.
Siemens presented its cutting-edge technology digitally and interactively at the trade fair. We took on the concept, designed the UI, and implemented the exhibit technically for the complex interplay of transparent touch OLED and 4K monitor.
What made it special was that the clever placement of the OLED in front of the monitor allowed clinical images to be superimposed as transparent layers over a digital patient in addition to information and videos, impressively visualizing the AI-Rad Companion's integrated artificial intelligence.
Room for radiological innovations: the AR real-time location system
Visualizing tomorrow's clinical processes via app – to optimize workflows and operate financially efficiently? To this end, we developed an augmented reality app that projects what will happen in the hospital of the future into a 3D trade fair exhibit.
Within the app, trade fair visitors chose their role as patient, nurse, or medical technician – and used AR to experience how the clinical challenges of a new generation can be optimally mastered. We also ensured that the presentation ran smoothly by extensively testing the app, designing the UI, and supporting the construction of the exhibit.
