Mission control for the trade show
How do you manage a trade show booth with more than 60 monitors, three navigation kiosks and four interactive applications efficiently and effectively? For Rittal, we delivered exactly that at Hannover Messe: a centrally controlled digital ecosystem for the entire booth. Together with Lachs von Achtern, we took on overall project management, concept and creative direction, while click solutions was also responsible for the complete technical implementation – from the infrastructure down to each individual HTML application.
One control center for 110 clients
To manage a booth of this size efficiently, we developed our own content management system – the trade show CMS. It controls all content centrally for 110 connected clients at once. More than 60 monitors display exactly what needs to be shown at any given moment, with no manual intervention on site. This infrastructure formed the foundation for all other digital exhibits.

Digital signage that tells the whole booth story
For the digital signage solution, we produced more than 80 assets, played out via the trade show CMS on more than 60 screens. One special case shows how flexibly the system works: in screensaver mode, it automatically displayed the EPLAN product world, so even quiet periods at the booth were actively used for brand communication. The same signage solution is also used on the move – for example in showtrucks touring as part of roadshows.

Clicks that speak for themselves
The three 43-inch navigation kiosks guided visitors across the entire booth. How well this worked had already become clear during their previous use at SPS: on a single day of the fair, the kiosks recorded more clicks than on all other days combined.

Four themed worlds, one Fastlane
Along the Fastlane, we developed four standalone HTML applications covering Energy Transition, Smart Factory, Panel Building and Industrial Automation, complemented by a dedicated application for the IT data center hot aisle. Each topic could be experienced on its own, without visitors having to switch between different systems.
